Hi, guys!
Just to give you some context before I jump to the question.
I'm the software developer who also runs a small tech blog. I love drawing but I'm not doing graphics work for a living. Most of my drawing is to be used in my blog posts, like this:
So, I'm using a small Intuos Comic, everything is fine, but drawing on a tablet like this is somehow, feeling unnatural. That's why I decided to have an upgrade to a display graphics tablet.
I know fancy gears does not help. But I want to upgrade my experience as well.
However, I cannot afford a ~1000$ Cintiq 13hd, it just not worth for a hobby. So I started looking for the alternatives and Cintiq 12wx is what I found, with a good price around ~300$ on eBay.
I also found an Artisul D10 on Amazon and Fry's Electronics with the price around 279$. But some reviews on Amazon said they're only compatible with Mac and Windows. I'm a Linux user.
So, does anyone ever tried Cintiq, especially 12wx or Artisul on Linux devices, is there any problem with the drivers? Since Intuos works well on Linux, I hope Cintiq do, as well.
And which one should I buy with a budget no more than 350$ (or my wife will hang my head upside down)?
Thank you so much for your time reading my long post :D
Cheers
