I hope this is a good place to ask! I am currently in the process of buying my first graphic tablet so that I can start turning arts/design into a profession on some level. I am extremely excited about getting into the digital world of arts, and I am pretty comfortable picking the specific tablet itself out, however, I am unsure what kind of tablet I should get.
I figured I would just start with one that doesn't have a display, to sort of test how much I enjoy using a tablet, but without spending too much money. If I loved it, I'd upgrade later. My step-father insists I should go ahead and shell out the cash on one with a display though, as he says it would be a "great investment in my future," which I suppose is true since I am trying to use it for professional endeavors.
So now I'm here, asking which you would recommend and which you personally prefer...I'm really excited to get one, but I want to be sure I'm making the right choice! I want to note that I'm not that concerned with the price tags on these things, I have the money, but I don't know how smart it would be to spend so much of it on this just yet.
