My fireplace has black slate surrounding it, with a white mantel. We just did some wallpaper around the mantel and it looks amazing. I hate the black slate even more now, tho. Can I paint it? I’d like to paint white to lighten it up. I’ve googled and read a lot of mixed reviews. Curious to hear if you’ve got experience with this!
