I'm in the process of rebuilding our companies website and have been referencing [caniuse.com](www.caniuse.com) a ton. While "Fixed" has been around a long time I ran across this article by Brad Frost about "Fixed Positioning".
Now granted this article is OLD but it still got me thinking and I went and checked it out and while there's some buggy stuff on Android (fixed in iframe), Opera Mini doesn't support it at all and it has a 5% global use rate. So are people ignoring it and just going ahead of with using "fixed" or is there work around?
Obviously absolute doesn't function the same as fixed but positioning wise it seems the safer bet to use?
