Hey web_design! Me and my team are starting to handle our design workflow better now and we are looking for an all around tool that (hopefully) will do what we need. The perfect to would be able to handle the process from end to end with these in mind:
- Fast lo-fi prototyping (ideally interactive)
- Hi-fi mockups
- Review process with comments
- Versioning of the designs
- Colaboration (like the ability to create collaborative libraries)
- Specification tools (specs for development)
There is a tool that does almost all of this (UXPin) but the issue with that tool is that it's totally unreliable for a daily use. It made me batshit crazy today trying to deal with strange and unpredictable bugs.
I know that Adobe XD seems to be on the good track for this but we need a solution for now (and multi platform since one of our designers uses windows and the others use macs)
I know it will be hard to do everything well with one single solution so I'm also glad to hear about your process using multiple tools.
