Can anyone point me towards a good Stimming logo tutorial?

Hey /r/Design,

I'm trying to figure out a good way to have geometric control over logos like these while also incorporating the overlapping effect of the path. Can anyone tell me how it's down or point me in the direction of some good tutorials that cover this?
