I have never studied design. I just learned everything on my own, through youtube and playing around. I tweaked a logo for my sports team and it gets printed and used a lot. I edited the logo in photoshop and had it Vectorized through a service so its just a PDF file. Sometimes clothing companies ask me for a AI file and the color codes. So I just open the file and save it as an AI file and send it to them, which seems to work. I just don't understand why they ask me to do this. Isn't it the equivelent of asking me to google something for you? Or am I missing something fundamental.
