On purpose. I’m a CD, have been for 5 years. I have come to the conclusion that the ridiculous nature of promotion for designers has to mean entering a managerial role. I don’t like it, I’m not naturally good at it, and I miss “doing” the work. I’ve been considering a senior design post instead. I wonder if this is something anyone here has considered? Moving from AD or CD back to senior designer etc? If so how did it go?
