Ideas to cultivate better design thinking at firm?

Hey

I work at a smaller design firm with 4 designers. Even though we sit in the same room and often work with the same clients, we rarely talk about design in a broader sense. We all have different backgrounds and rather different tastes in design.

Our CD is too busy to keep things tight. So I've proposed a 1h/week "design meeting" where we can gather and talk design without it being tied to a project. With the intent to get us to better in tune with each other, to think/do more alike, understand each other better etc.

So, my question is if you have any good experience from this and if you have any good tips and ideas to things that we could do during these meetings?
