Hi all.
A few weeks back I asked about taking a backwards step fromCreative Director to Senior Designer. I wanted to “do design” rather than sit in meetings. After five years of being a CD I resigned and started hunting.
Glad to say that I got three job offers the first week. All senior design positions working in-house (check) on products (check) allowing me to own the entire process (check) and hopefully to do some social good (check).
Wanted to share as I know a few people off of Reddit having the same thoughts as me, and concerned their experience will make it harder to get the gig. Be brave, be brutally honest in the interview, and never doubt yourself.
Great design resource
