Help picking a good wide format printer

Hey all, not sure if this is a great sub for this question, but thought I would post here in hopes someone had some insight. I posted on r/printers earlier too, but I know there's more eyeballs here.

Im wondering if anyone can help shed some light and personal experience on a printer purchase we are looking into. We're replacing our 15 year old HP designjet plotter. We have been looking at the Epson T7270; seemed to be what we were going to go with, but now we're considering other avenues as well.

We work in a government agency and would be planning on using it a few times a week. Quality is our main concern, speed is negotiable as long as it's reasonable. We need it to work reliably, and come in somewhere around the $5000 range or less.

Does anyone have any insight into whether the Epson would be a good choice for us, or what other options might be viable?
