I work on a marketing team for fairly large company, and we are in the middle of trying to get our file structure organized. I’ve been trying to collect research on how others do it, but most of what I find is redundant or for small studios that can name their work by client name (all of our work is in-house).
We are trying to stay away from third party apps since we already have our own servers, and the work that will need to be organized is both web design (page layouts, emails, social media, etc), and interaction research which could be applicable to many different projects (videos, surveys, etc that relate to our visual projects).
How do you/does your company manage design files? Do you use readme files/external apps? Any information would be helpful!
