I've got a 100 page amazon affiliate website that I designed with html and css. It's relatively successful but I feel that my lack of web design skills may be hindering its progress.
It was one of my first websites I ever built, so the html/css is sloppy to say the least. It's not responsive, it gets a 0 for the Google speed test haha, the website isn't centered correctly, the images aren't optimized, there's no 404 page, the list goes on.
It makes a decent penny, and I'm building a portfolio of websites that require my time, so I figured I would reinvest in outsourcing the redesign. Do you think I should hire a company to customize a wordpress design? Any ideas on the cost for this?
I mostly worried about losing my current organic rankings, it's almost inevitable that there will be a negative affect at first, but I believe in the long run it would be beneficial.
