I am looking for good examples of how to organize a website for a quite eclectic portfolio

I am about to start working on a website for a design portfolio that contains quite a lot of different fields of work. So the main focus for instance isn’t on printed matter, which could be divided into sub categories such as book design, poster design, type design and so on. The different categories are a little more abstract and eclectic than that. It ranges from traditional graphic design (print) over video, motion, 3D, (art)performances, installation, interior design, type design to theory.

So, do you know any interesting examples of websites that found a good way structuring a wide variety of disciplines? I’m a little stuck here with how to set this whole thing up layout-wise. My approach was to boil all the different categories down to three or four very broad categories such as print, video, and misc., but that is a rather cheap solution and not very satisfying.

Any input would be highly appreciated! Thanks!
