Mood board help - kidswear

For one reason or another (I don’t want to give away the company I work for) the head designer disappeared for an undetermined amount of time. I have now been given the chance of designing the girl’s fall line for 2018. 4 themes are need (+1 holiday theme) and I am not getting support from the teammates that are supposed to be helping me. I am very nervous as the themes have to be presented tomorrow. The clothing goes from 3m to 7years. The feedback I got about past collection was that it was too fuzzy and basically needs to be more day to day.

Any tips on how to make successful mood boards? I am currently working on some but feel that too many images may not get the point across. Any tips will be greatly appreciated as this is a big chance for me.

Thank you for listening reading.
