They were my go to source for decent stock photos, and as the name suggests for only $1. I'd often see the exact same photos on other stock sites selling for much more.
They were especially good for when you needed a decent photo to go along with a blog or social media post without blowing the budget. Or wanted to spec a photo or vector in a design and didn't have to worry about downloading a non-watermarked version and having the client not like it because it only cost you $1 if they didn't.
They're moving all of their customers to Adobe Stock, but individual photos there cost $10 or $3-5 on a 10/month on a plan.
What are some other cheap stock site alternatives that people are using?
