What are the color differences between flat uI design and material UI design ?

I have looked up at this website and I saw two different palletes. They are Flat UI color palette and Material UI color palette. But I don't know their differences and I think it is almost the same.

What are the differences between them and I want to apply Flat Design to my website rather than Material Design, could I use the color from Material Design ?
