Branding and Visual ID Creation process?

Hello fellow designers,

I was considering ways to create a visual Identity, beside researching visual references, and I had this idea of suggesting to the client they'd decorate a room that would fit in their business or would transmit the feel their brand should have. Then I would suggest a Logo + ID to match that room according to the colors and age of the chosen furniture and decoration. Idk it made sense in my mind. What you guys think of this process?
