What CMS would you recommend for plugging into an existing site?

I'm just doing an update on a website I previously built for a client and we're discussing the possibility of plugging it into a CMS so they can edit the text. It isn't a text-heavy site, which is why I didn't use a CMS in the first place, so I'm only looking for something lightweight.

Would love to hear some recommendations. There are just so many to sift through, it's hard to tell what would be best for the job. Thanks!
