Hey /r/web_design,
As a web dev, one of my biggest difficulties with developing a new site is finding inspiration for specific design patterns and interfaces.
For example, if I'm creating a pricing table for a SaaS business, I'll often search Google for something like "inurl:/pricing/ saas", or "examples of pricing tables". Ultimately it's quite a clunky process though. Alternatively I do have a bookmark folder with nicely designed sites that I'm slowly building up over time, but in the grand scheme of things it's only a small sample of what's out there.
Does anyone else share this frustration?
I built UIDB (User Interface Database) to solve this problem. Hopefully it'll be useful for others too, but at the moment I'm building it up as a place to save my personal favorite designs and UI if nothing else.
The beta is live now and it's very minimal on features. Just wondering if anyone here would find this useful if it was populated with a huge amount of examples?
Cheers, Joe
