Hi guys, Happy New Year!
I have been doing the Ruby course on codeacademy (link for interested: http://ift.tt/1OMY7Be). I am getting my head around it but there is no context of how it could be used for web development. I understand that it is backend but what exactly can it be used for? I have also done a little bit of the javascript course and again, no context. Can someone please clear this up for me?
