How do you design a site around patented 'secret' services? Also would love any inspiration for industrial sites in general.

I've been asked to update a company's rather late 90's looking website. Unlike most things I have done, this one poses a new problem for me.

They are a service company for oil and gas. They do work with equipment and tools used out in fields. Many of their processes are patented and are kept under wraps for fear of other companies using them. They also produce one particular tool that is also a trade secret.

I am struggling to figure out how to highlight what they can offer and what they do without giving anything away. I have also searched around for some inspiration about how present a mostly industrial type company and I have not found anything modern (last decade or so).

Currently the site offers a bullet point list of what they offer, which only makes sense if you have worked with them before or someone similar. It also has usual things like location, address..etc. They did ask for a way for users to make a request for service through the site, but I think that will wait until I can better understand how to present what they do without giving anything away.

Apologies for the lack of specifics. Thank you for any help on this.

Epic visual tool
