I'm curious for those of you that are in the design industry, what type of jobs are out there for those of us that aren't designers?
I'm a 24 y/o young professional that is looking to get into the design industry, but I'm not so sure if being a designer is quite right for me. I've been using lynda to try and teach myself the Adobe Suite, which is great, but my passion is more for the design process rather than the actual designing itself.
I have strong skills in brainstorming, team building/organizing, communication (large or small scale), and a bit of experience managing as well.
More specifically, are there entry level jobs in the design industry I may qualify for without a portfolio? Not trying to take the easiest route, I understand portfolios take a lot of hard work/time, but like I said, my interest is more in the design process rather than the actual designs themselves.
Thanks!
Great design resource
