Question: Do you make the backend of wordpress site nice for clients?

Background:

I'm very comfortable doing wordpress customizations and can remove admin menus and such that a client probably shouldn't touch. I used to use premium themes, but now realize that they are often bloated and inefficient. I switched to genesis framework and it's working out fairly well so far.

Question:

But my question is, should I make the backend client friendly? And for those that know how to code well with html, css, and js... do you bother working with a page builder plugin for the sake of the client? Or do you just code everything with the default content editor (the visual and text tabs)?

I feel like I should just create however I create, and maybe remove some admin areas so the client doesn't break anything. But as you can tell, I'm not 100% sure.

Epic visual tool
