I'm learning web development on Khan Academy. Should I switch over to codecademy?

I've noticed that pretty much everyone in their mother uses and recommends codecademy. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through the Khan Academy HTML/CSS lesson (http://ift.tt/1F88Org) Just starting the "CSS Layout" section.

I mean it's not bad. I'm using sublime-text 2 to build my own examples of things instead of just going through the lessons and forgetting them. I did take a glance at the javascript lesson in Khan Academy and found it to be kind of amateurish, like it focused on animation instead of actual functional coding, but I'm not there yet.

Should I continue or switch over? If so what would be a good jump off point from CodeCademy seeing that I already know a lot of the absolute beginner stuff.
