Advice on how these simple screen captures were created?

Hey Web_Design!

I'm curious on how these simple screen captures were created. Two examples:

• Digital Ocean
• Social Bakers

I'm assuming they used a screen capture tool and then edited the video in Adobe After Effects. Curious on your thoughts on this.

Also, does anyone recommend a decent screen capture tool for windows?
