Best way to start learning SASS?

I'm looking to get into SASS, but what's the best way in your opinion? I thought about just jumping into something like Foundation, etc and going from there, but that's already pre-written for you for the most part.

Should I just start with small parts of SASS on a test server somewhere and go from there?

I'm mainly interested in SASS for the nesting portion of it, I'm getting tired of having to do .something ul li ul li, etc, etc. And it'd make for cleaner code imo.
