Hi Guys,
I just wanted to get a general opinion here really. I'm making a new app, and I've come up with what I believe to be a pretty clever name, however it has the word "shit" in it. I've been tossing around the idea for a while now, and I'm still not sure if it's a good idea, or if I should go with something more censored.
My only concern is that I miss some of my audience in people that would find it offensive, or have profanity filters on their browsers. The last thing I want to do is alienate any users based solely on the name of my app. With that said, my thought was that the name was creative enough that it might actually draw in some users.
So, what are your opinions on profanity in app names? Do you think it's a bad idea or a good one? Maybe I shouldn't be giving it so much thought?
