Over a year ago, I set out to learn web development with the intent of becoming a professional in 1-2 years. I wanted to focus on the front end because I am more of a visual person. So listening to common advice, I learned (and am still learning) HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap and other front end technologies.
All that said...I think my brain "clicks" more with the design aspect of web development. I enjoy using the aforementioned technologies to make a visually beautiful site and to create an enjoyable, seamless user experience. When it comes to building fully functional web apps, I seem to get out of my sweet spot and end up in territory that may be better suited for true "developers."
Has anyone found themselves in the same boat? I guess my question is, do I sound like the type of person who should focus more on web design? Digital marketing? I guess I'm also partly confused by job titles and what I should be looking for.
Epic visual tool
