I've got a page I'm trying to build, using a bootstrap template, and a Nav bar I stole from a non-responsive page that the guy I'm building for requested as a must have.
I don't know any javascript, I've just got knowledge of HTML/CSS but I'm far from an expert. This is the page I'm using: http://ift.tt/1IrUMqv
That non-responsive nav bar is causing the whole page to not work properly if I were to shrink the browser at all.
I tried changing it to a button following the guidelines from the original template I had grabbed: http://ift.tt/1PlzmdY
But it's likely the ID's /etc from the nav bar I stole are causing issues with changing it to a button, as when I try and add the button code back to the page, it does this: http://ift.tt/1IrUMqx
Nav bar completely disappears, until I shrink the page. At which point the button appears, which is great, but the button doesn't work.
I'm using bootstrap but I have some other stuff in there that I tried to use hoping to save some time on this. Thanks in advance!
I'm not dead set on the button, I don't mind changing it somehow else to make it responsive.
