Stripe Connect to facilitate payments between users?

Hi everyone,

I'm setting up a website that allows users to perform online transactions of digital content between one another. The transactions would be from a credit card to a bank account, after I take a fee.

I was going to use PayPal chained payments, but read that Stripe Connect was a more trendy option, so I went with Stripe.

My problem is that I'm not sure if Stripe Connect is made for the purpose I need it for. Does anyone have any insight on this?
