Just scheduled an interview for a position as a web designer on Monday. I've freelanced for two years (directly out of high school) so I have a few projects to show.
First off, I'm nervous about talking about my process – because it's the opposite of streamlined. I create a wireframe, I design a page in Sketch, I start coding, I realize I started coding too soon, I go back to Sketch, etc. My process is a mess, and that sucks, but it's true. How do explain that in a way so that they'll know I get the job done?
Second, what am I to expect? How many projects should I show and talk about? How detailed should I when explaining decisions, features and problems? Any and all answers are welcome, general advice too. I'll probably edit this with more questions, my head is spinning right now.
Epic visual tool
