So I am trying to wrap my head around Foundation 6, Sass and Git. I am using these three to update my current portfolio. I am kind of learning these all at the same time so I can have more experience in web dev skills. I played around with Git on Github and I am pretty sure I have that figured out. My question is mainly concerning Sass I suppose.
I had some trouble figuring out how to get Foundation 6 Sass on my computer, but finally got it to work.
So I am typing this into CMD:
- Foundation New
After that, I am going through the dialogue and selecting the basic template and then naming my project. I then type Foundation Watch and it created the CSS file for app.scss)
Okay, so I get that far. Now when it comes to Git and showing my work - there is a lot of things in this folder - do I upload every bit of it to Github? Also, is this folder what I should be uploading when I launch my site? Or should I simply take only the app.css that I have customized in Sass/Scss? Obviously I would take the JS files and my html files as well - but I don't see why I would upload everything else in the folder.
Any help would be much appreciated! Please let me know if I can clear anything up, thanks.
