question on hostgator and starting new a domain/website:can people see the first and last name you register with when signing up on hostgator?

i'm signing up for the baby plan and domain registration for a year. i want to know if people can see who owns the website in any way by name. also, can you change the name? im talking about the first and last name host gator asks for during the sign up process. thanks!
