I want a website similar to cracked that posts images which leads to text they can read. I want to use images and i want to know legally speaking do i have to ask for permission before i use a jpg. that an artist has used some amount of time to work with? Would it be ok for me to link to youtube videos in a box and talk about said video on my site without asking for permission. Do i have to credit the person who made the art or video?
