I would like to keep the old admin area and just redesign a new front end pointing to the same database. The server is a complete mess of files and will take hours to clean up so I'd like to just tuck it away for now. Would I run into any problems dragging the entire contents of the current site into a subfolder on the server? That way, I could design the new site and access the old one by going http://ift.tt/1S2ReNe. Will I run into any Google indexing issues etc as along as I use HTAccess to not allow indexing?
