I am looking to have a new ecommerce website built for and individual product line. When building the website I want it be as focussed and effective as possible in regards to SEO for the products specific keywords.
I have spoken to a handful of web designers regarding this and all have differing opinions. They say that a Wordpress/Woocommerce site would be cheaper and quicker to create (I am on a budget) but the SEO abilities of these platforms would not be as effective as custom Magento site.
I am just looking to get some independent opinions on this.
I want the site to rank as high as possible for the specific keywords relating to the product otherwise it is not really feasible to be running the site. The general design of the site will be very simplistic a maximum of 6 pages in total and 20 product variations
Any thoughts? Would I be limiting the SEO potential of the site by opting for Wordpress/Woocommerce? Or are they just as effective as a custom Magento Site.?
